Conference Applications of Algebra XXIII (11-17.03.2019)

It is our pleasure to announce that the conference Applications of Algebra XXIII will be held on 11-17.03.2019. This edition of the conference is organized by the Chair of Logic, Methodology and Epistemology of Jan Długosz University.

The conference is twenty-three of the series. The idea of the event is to put together researchers from different fields where algebra is involved, to promote interaction and cooperation. We hope to gather people who apply algebra in one way or another: pure algebraists, other mathematicians, logicians, philosophers (during conference will be held also "philosophical session"), computer scientists, linguists etc. 

The event will take place in the hotel Fian in Zakopane, Poland. It is a quiet hotel situated in a beautiful scenery. Zakopane, which is about 100 km south of Cracow and can be reached from there by bus or train, is regarded as the winter capital of Poland. At this time of year there are usually good skiing opportunities.

 All researchers are cordially invited to attend. The arrival day will be Monday, 11th March, the departure is planned on Sunday, 17th March (before noon). To find more information please consult our website: http://aalcs.pl/

 If you want to give a talk, we kindly ask you to send the abstract to conference@aalcs.pl. To make the procedure of preparing the book of abstracts easier, please write an abstract using the file: example.tex which can be found at our website. Please do this before 30th January, since we are going to publish the book of abstracts before the conference starts. Tentative programme and other details will be given in the second announcement in February. Do not hesitate to contact us to obtain any information you need.
